ANDANTE SOSPESO

The palm for the most curious project goes to Andante Sospeso, a composition for music, cableways and chairlifts signed by Banda Osiris (Giancarlo Macrì, percussions and tuba bass, Gianluigi Carlone sax soprano, flute and voice, Roberto Carlone bass, trombone, Sandro Berti guitar and trombone) with the participation of fifteen other musicians, mostly wind instruments.
An idea that could be seen as being quite bizarre, but in reality it stresses the most serious side of the faboulous quartet of musicians and actors from Piemonte. The idea is to create a suggestive sound carpet that could face a text written by Tiziano Scarpa, spread all over the place by loudspeakers.
Hanging music and swinging thoughts which accompany the ups and downs of the passengerslisteners, involved in a rather singular musical performance.
