Juventus returns punctually to the place it chose last year as a summer training camp, and which it has also booked for four more years.  This is where the team’s long championship season really begins: the pre-championship training camp at Pinzolo.
Setting a spectacular scene for the players who can and will create spectacles on the playing field, this summer camp among the Val Rendena woods, in sight of the long season ahead, has been made possible by a partnership in every sense between the Trentino escutcheon and the team which many expect to do well in the forthcoming season.
Until 2011 Trentino will play host to the Juventus team at their pre-championship training camp.  For the whole of their stay Juventus will be accompanied by a series of events, beginning with the presentation of the team for next season, followed by the inevitable gala nights and less formal evenings. A chance, therefore, for tourists and local residents to get to know the famous champions and the new faces on the team that will have to fight hard for good results in this 2007-8 season.
Some situations are an excellent opportunity for public relations work, an important factor which should not be underestimated. The Trentino region is regarded as an open-air gymnasium, the ideal place from the environmental angle to forge body and spirit in preparation for the long and treacherous struggles lying ahead. Juventus’s  “high altitude”  training is actually only the beginning of a series of activities already fully planned for each and every year ahead.
